Lionel Messi is 28 years old. To commemorate the date, we take a look back at a series of videos showingthe Barça striker's best moments, his most amazing exhbitions of skills, and his earliest moments at FCBarcelona.

2. On 6 March 2004, in a match against Mataró at the Miniestadi, a young 16-year-old Argentine made his debut with FC Barcelona's B team, which won 1–0. Interestingly, Messi had already debuted for the first team in a friendly with FC Porto five months earlier, on 16 November 2003. His official debut would come the following autumn, on 16 October 2004, at Espanyol.
